Hey, what do you know, I thought of something! Short though it is...^^;; I've been working like mad, and I decided to check this community last week, see how much had changed..only to see it was my turn to post. XD I've been thinking about this for a few days, but this was all that could come to mind, I hope it suffices!

Fingers fumbled, sliding over cool bedcovers not warmed by a warm body. Jou grunted, opening an eye. Seto wasn't there. Something deep within himself panicked a bit, and he shot up, feeling his heart pound a little more faster. Why did he feel, down in the pit of his soul, as if Seto was gone, vanished? That was silly. It was his home, he wouldn't go anywhere. Blanket pulled up over his waist, he pulled his legs up to his chest, resting an arm on his knees as he pushed the other hand through his hair. Why did he feel so jumpy? Maybe it had to do with that weird dream...he could see Yami--the Pharaoh's--features in his mind, looking at him sadly, as if he'd given an ultimateum that killed him as much as it had him. The word banished echoed oddly in his mind and he shuddered.
It was with a mixture of strange loss and fear, though he really had no idea why he was feeling these things, that he saw Seto come back. He lifted his head from where he'd been resting it, trembling a little, before he gasped in surprise at that intense blue-eyed stare before he was pulled into Seto's arms when he sat down with him. "Kaiba?" he murmured, blinking against Seto's chest.
Second chances. Seto nodded faintly to himself against the blond's head. If it really was...fate or whatever, he wouldn't lose this chance. He would make things right, the way that Seth and Jono hadn't had.
"Kaiba...you're squishing me."
Seto smirked in amusement. Besides, he wasn't totally Seth, as the blond wasn't totally Jono. It would be different this time. It had been good in the past, but for his...transgressions. It would be better this time. He loosened his arms around the other, and leaned back a bit to tilt up Jou's chin. "Were you dreaming?" he whispered. "You looked a bit pale when I came in."
Amber eyes met his gaze, and Jou flushed. "Um...well, I had this really quirky dream. I don't remember it all, but I saw the Pharaoh's face, and he looked...I dunno, sad, I guess. I could...feel myself in this dream, my fists clenched, my eyes burning. I seem to be...waiting. And there's one word echoing through my head, besides yours--ah, Seth's--name. Banished. Like I was waiting for Seth to come back..." He shivered again, and wiped his arm across his eyes. "Something got in my eye." he muttered.
The brunette's lips quirked a little. So another flashback to the past. Like his own, but...banished? The Pharaoh must've told him otherwise, when he had died. It jerked at his heartstrings, thinking of the blond in his visions just waiting. Waiting for nothing. How long had Jono waited for him, he wondered. He ought to tell him how he had been duped, but how was he to say such a thing?
Apparantly, fate had other devices in mind.
Leaning into Seto's hand as it rubbed his back, Jou looked down at Seto's side, before his eyes widened, and he stiffened. "Kaiba...you're bleeding!"
Seto blanched, and looked down, as well. The dream...the place where he'd bled when he was executed...was streaming a little river of blood on the bare skin, to the pale blankets below.

(Gah, so short...XD But it was all I could think of, to have a bit of mystical deja vu, you know? =p I hope you can make something of this, Sakata, since my brain up and died. XD Good luck!)
