Okay, so I had to go back and reread everything after my last post a million times. Which is hard when you’re trying to skip over lemons. I’m always afraid that I’m missing out on some pivotal plot point.
Gwargh.
In any case, I’m going to try my best.

He was just drifting into a normal sleep when the light shuffle of silk – Kaiba’s pajama pants? - came into earshot. Jou stiffened before forcing himself into a semblance of sleep.
Breathe …
The sound had stopped just short of the bed.
His side of the bed.
Don’t open your eyes, don’t open your eyes.
Breathe.
Was that a breath ghosting across his cheek? The light trace of a finger?
Underneath the uncomfortably humid sheets, Jou’s fingernails began to dig into his palm.
It’s just your imagination.
Suddenly, there was a rustle at the other side of the bed. He felt a shift as Kaiba’s body was lowered onto it.
Jou let out a quiet sigh.
His hands uncurled.
As it turned out, he hadn’t been breathing.
– But Kaiba was. It was then that Jou noticed – the boy next to him was trembling. Kaiba was trembling. He was trying to suppress his ragged breaths, and doing a good job of it, but Jou had been waiting in the darkness for long enough that he was picking up on the sounds of the night.
What happened to him?
...What should I do?
Before Jou had really made a decision, he found himself scooting closer to Kaiba, to the coolness of the untainted side of the sheets.
He reached out a hand, tentatively touching Kaiba’s shoulder.
It was bare.
Shit!
At this moment, two things happened.
Firstly, all of the desires which he had managed, for the most part, to force down came raging to the front of his mind.
And secondly, Kaiba rolled over to face him, eyes gleaming.

…Wow, this sucks. Makikoigami, I hope that you can find something of use in this.
