It had been days. The same thing always happened:
He would wake up to find the bastard Seth smirking at him.
The bastard Seth – the two words had become firmly meshed in his mind – would then proceed to remind Jono just how sick he was.
Seth would be called to complete various duties, and would before leaving firmly remind Jono just who was boss and why he should not even think about running.
He would come back, and ‘play’ with him some more.
Jono’s wrists never even got a chance to scab over.
A small, dignified cough told Jono that Seth had returned. “I hate you, you know,” greeted Jono, turning to face him. He would never call Seth his master. Never.
“You tell me often enough,” said Seth. “It’s losing its novelty.”
Something had to break.
Something had to break…
Jono wouldn’t break, damn it! He had to help his sister!
But he was running out of time.
Jono laughed, his voice colored by despair. “Well, for an idiot like you, I figured I had to pound it in.”
There it was. A small flicker of – anger? Hah! He could annoy bastard Seth after all. The priest grabbed Jono and slammed him against a wall. The pain was nothing to him. “What was that, slave?” hissed Seth, bright eyes glinting dangerously. Jono also began to guess at the reason why the Pharaoh hadn't gotten rid of Seth a long time ago - aside from the considerable increase in his civility whenever he was with the Pharaoh, that was. If the intensity behind Seth's glare was any indication, then Seth was actually quite a powerful priest.
Smooth fingers pressed painfully into Jono's skin, but he made no noise. He had felt worse.
Seth, faced by silence, took it upon himself to continue the conversation. "You're losing the palace fat already. Good." He smirked in his twisted way, and it was all Jono could do not to gag. "Don't be boring," Seth added.
"Don't be a bastard."
Seth quirked an eyebrow as his hands continued on their downward path. "Be original, why don't you? Amuse me."
"You're not worth the energy. Besides, you probably wouldn't understand anything less subtle anyway," shot Jono. Seth's nails clenched, and he yelped involuntarily.
"Kindly do not forget your station," said Seth. "You should be glad that I'm being so kind to you..."
Kind?
Kind?
That did it.
"Who the hell thinks you're kind, you sick sadist castoff of Anubis?! You've been raping me every damn day, for crying out loud! You think I like being with you?! You're wrong! I hate you! I hate you!" Jono broke down, crying incoherently. Seth could only make out a few of the words, but they all seemed to involve him and various torture devices. He was rather shocked by Jono's burst of emotion, truth be told: he had expected the slave to hold out longer than that. For a moment, he found himself reaching forward as though to comfort Jono.
The moment ended. The priest withdrew his hand and chose a different course of action.
Seth grabbed Jono and forced him into a kiss.
After a long moment, Jono shoved Seth off. "Bastard!" he yelled, delivering a sharp kick to Seth's stomach. Seth began to cough as Jono scrambled backwards.
It was only then, standing over Seth and staring at him, that Jono realized what he had done.
And what the punishment would be.
Jono, he thought to himself bitterly, I think you've just royally screwed yourself over.

I'm sorry! I'm sorry! This really sucks. TT__TT I mean, really. I couldn't think of anything else.
...Not to mention I think I just screwed over the next person to write, too. ^_^;;
